Cancer Survivor

I was reading reanaclaire's post Please Help Me to Help Him on a friend of hers who is diagnosed with cancer and read a comment by CheaHS@n and recommended reanaclaire to read a blog on a Cancer Survivor - Dr. Wu.

Eventually he survived and is going strong since then. I may not believe in vegan life but he made sense. But not that sure doesn’t mean I will go vegan. I will just eat more vegetables and fruits. Here is his testimonial - NATURAL HEALER : HOW DR. WU RID HIMSELF OF CANCER WITH VEGETARIAN DIET

6. Drink a lot of water, in the correct way.

How much water you need to drink each day depends on your specific situation. If your office is air-conditioned, drinking six glasses of water a day is enough. If your work involves lots of walking, you have to drink 8-10 glasses a day. If you work under the hot sun, then 10-12 glasses of water are required.

The way you drink is also important. The correct way is to sip it little by little, to give your body cells time to absorb the water. If you drink the whole glass down at once, your cells can't absorb it all, and the water will be excreted as urine.


I never knew it should be done that way… and here all this time I have been drinking my water in whole lot of gulps! There are more on that blog check it out.
Oh so I found out that blood type O cannot eat vegetables for a long time haha.

7. Eat according to your blood type.

Your blood type determines what you should eat. Eating the wrong foods will make you sick.

People with blood type O have to eat a certain amount of meat. If they eat only vegetables for a long time, their body won't absorb all the substances they need to strengthen their immune system. The recommended diet for this group is 75% vegetables, 10% fruits, 10% meat, seafood and goat's milk (avoid cow's milk), and 5% grains.

People with blood type A, however should avoid milk and meat, while increasing grains and fruits. People with blood type B should also avoid meat, while those with blood type AB should avoid chicken and beef.

I am O blood… so means I was right not going vegan! But have to avoid cow’s milk… guess will try goat’s milk soon.

is that mean no burger or hotdog? :(

i didn't know about proper way to drink water too.
usually i'm like you drink whole of it in a gulp!
it feels good and refresh.
so i say.

Faisal : Well, I believe you can stil lconsume them chicken and beef, just eat lesser amount of them.

Hahaha I think alot of people drink that way! It is much more refreshing!

Yep! We should sip the water little by little to maximize absorption...if not all will be our urine. :)

But I still prefer to drink with haste. Haha :D

Yeah! There have been research being done about food which should consume according to our blood type. Then again...there is still no proof. :D

I believe it all boils down to the healthy lifestyle that we lead right? ;)

Tekkaus : haha... I believe so do I; well, time to try to drink water sip by sip :P and see how it goes... least won't make us filled up with water too!

Tekkaus : Well, so far I have learnt, there are some testimonial. Of course not healthy living but on diets. People have mentioned they see faster results when they eat according to their blood type. For Blood type O, meat is their best diet.. so it says hmmm...

first of all, congrats to you for being my FC today and your lovely avatar is up.

your mom was a cancer patient? i'm sure it's tough for her to go thru this ordeal. hope she's doing well now.

my blood type is B which means i should avoid meat. well, i'm not a meat lover anyway. hehe

ppl are being encouraged to live in healthy lifestyle. but it's easier said than done. some food are so hard to resistleh. :)

more tips on healthy living ar..
*need to recal what my parents always nag* hahahah...

- must eat 5 colors of food everyday. [aka, carot - orange, rice - white, mushroom - black and ETC]
- must do more exercise
- dont eat artificial foods, those food are not suitable for our body
- drink more water
- buy organic fruits/vege, expensive a little bit nvm wan..
- AND ETC..

Yea my mom was.. but she is doing good now. Healthy and no more signs of cancer at all.

Oh now a meat lover. But do take some lah? Yea I know! Some food are just so hard to resist! Hahaha.. Temptation :P.

i'm in the O group too! well i was a vegan. haha. luckily god has made me turned back to normal diet.

well, it's not advisable to drink cold drinks after meals as they would harden the fats in our body. =)

~dolly~ : Ooooh, A type and a vegan too. Sounds about right for the blood type. "Avoid milk and meat" hehehe.

Wa 5 colors of food everyday? Now that is new to me.. I believe it is the vitamins that is in it huh?

Exercise is a must. That reminds me, I am supposed to be starting swimming, time to nag friend.

Artificial food yea, all the chemicals and preservatives! Unhealthy!

Water is also a must. Organic food huh? Expensive is one thing... Cannot afford is another :P.

SJ : Oh. What made you changed from being a vegan?

Cold drink after meals, yeah heard of that too and also that if we drink cold water, our blood will circulate about our body to warm us up and hence not assisting the digestion.

I'm B type... Try to avoid wheat-based food... hehe, too difficult because roti canai also made from wheat...

Try OMX cell food, it is the second generation biotechnology food discovered to cure cancer and another problem from the basic unit of human being, CELL

Sip water bit by bit? Aiyo! I don't have so much patience! haha!

But I always sip hot water bit by bit - so I'm doing something right! LOL!

I don't quite believe in the "eat according to your blood type". But I guess it's OK to follow the advice just follow 70%, not 100%! If they say cannot eat meat, I would say eat less meat.

Other tips? I would say always be happy, do exercises, forgive others and yourself, have enough sleep and rest and eat healthily!

Hot water sip by sip ar? If you can just gulp down hot water, I respect your tongue :P.

Yeah lah, some of this things cannot follow so accurately. Cause everyone's body is different.

Ayie : Ooooh well, not right for us to go vegan then hahaa... I read somewhere before the best diet for type O is really meat.. lots of it too. Eventually if we were to eat meat, vege and fruits... we keep fit and lose weight faster.. hmm...

hmm i dont believe the theory eat according to your blood type. but eating plenty of fruits, vege and water is definitely the best way to good health!

faisal, nothing is absolutely true especially in medical or health research. But listen to your own body. If you find eating meat makes your stomach uncomfortable, then refrain from eating too much of meat. Cos everyone's different : )
