A run I never did...

Yesterday (Sunday, 10th July 2011);

In conjunction of the Jurong Lake Run 2011, my company participated in the 5km run hosting the company’s Family Day as well. There is a 10km run as well, of course definitely not for me haha! To find out more of this run visit Jurong Lake Run 2011.

Waking up as early as my usual working day, haha hubs and I prepared to go run!

At about 8:15am; the run would be about to start.
Look at the horde of people!

Looks like I am going run ^^

It was a really sunny day!
So going to be burnt

Of course, I am not a runner. Not trained… Jogging, and stopping and taking pictures and jogging again. Blogger got to take pictures of places they go don’t they? Haha! But the view of the place will be blog in later days :P

Took me under 1 hour to complete the 5km stretch.
Finish line! Whoppee!

I managed in the end :p ... with a price to pay. My whole body ended up aching through the day… It is still now; guess I need more training haha!

The amount of people that ran;
Who would of imagined there is so many runners in Singapore gathering of today.

I used to finish 5 km in 10-15mins...but now i think i need an hr like u too haha XD

wenn : Neither do I! XD I stopped alot... hubs kept saying... don't stop, don't think about it :p. haha!

Tekkaus : Yea! Glad I finished! Eventhough I was like so lousy at it haha! But yes proud that I finished without taking shortcuts :D.

5K in an hour that includes lots of of photo taking is OK what. I run almost the same speed, and I actually run twice a week! So sad... :( LOL

lina : Er... to be honest! Nooo~ hahaha! My legs was aching way more! You run all the way I am sure... I walk almost like 4.5KM of the way XD.

So don't worry, I am sure you do great in this run!

Hey,,, running is so much fun,me and wifey love it so much,,, get involved,run a bit a day,then you will fall in love with it and there is no turning back,,,,,,,,i am serious, running is contagious.

i have a lady friend before she started running, she was like 82 kg, after a year of running , she is now 59 to 60 kg,and she got so mad about running, she travels just for running,,,,,,,,,,,,,

eugene : I figured, I would continue my swimming and run once a week. Not sure if I would love it, but it is worth a try ^^.

Wow your friend lost so much? I got to try then! I am like waaay heavier than her :3 and need to be like 60kg to be ideal >.<;

foongpc : Actually, I ran with a 2 litre water bag, so I stuff the camera in the bag too :P.

I prefer swimming to be honest.
Hahaha! Yea walking and taking pictures xD. not too forget getting annoyed at people too :P.

I'm not a runner here, but I am a heck of a walker, 5k walk sounds good to me. Looks like you made good time even with the blogging distractions.

Carla : Hahaha! I am a swimmer.. I do better when I swim ^^v.

Well, yes with the distractions I still made it. So yea it is good. I sweat alot, not sure if that shows that I did a great workout :P.

oh gosh, i can imagine the aching that you are having the day after. not to mentioned dragging your feet for the following days? :p but it was truly a healthy activity!
