Before my R.O.M. I had to meet my friend up to get my heels, else I would be without heels on the night of my R.O.M. Gasps! Of course other than that, we also met up for dinner and to shop around. So we went to Sunway Pyramid.
We went to Canton Bay for dinner; it is near the ice rink.
My friend told me they are good for their roasted duck and they got a 90% (or was it 99%?) discount off the drink you order when you order their meal.
I ordered;
Roasted Duck Rice.
It is kind of a small portion (I was still hungry after I ate this). But it was yummy. Of course if given a choice, I wouldn’t go back there. Expensive for this duck rice since it was small portion. But the duck meat was good. Succulent yum~
My friend ordered their;
Roasted Duck Porridge.
Oh this is nice too. Something refreshingly and it was a cold night. So the porridge was something warming.
This is my drink. Guava Juice.
In the end with their meal we are entitled to 90% (99%? I forgot hahaha) discount off the drink, the drink became only a few cents. I don’t remember how much but it was, but it was cheap hehehe.
Even after that meal, both of us went to eat a snack of Hot n’ Roll. Hehehe :P. That is how small the portion is at Canton Bay.

I have this problem....my tongue couldn't really accept duck unless it is really cooked well. Hehehe

Cooked it is cooked, not very ducky taste (the stinky ones :P).
90% discount from your drinks?! They should have served complimentary drinks instead of charging the 10%!

Mei Teng : Yea they should have! hahaha! But well, for that few cents... if I recall, I only had to pay 32cents for the drink.
The Roast Duck Porridge is good :). Add a little of sesame seed oil.. yummy!

I like roasted duck! Usually ate at those kopitiam type and not in air conditioned room. Maybe I'm bias that those yummy duck become cold duck under air-cond :D Nice promotion on the drink at few cents! I remember well many of the restaurants in shopping complex or higher class ones will usually charge their drinks almost as expensive as the foods :) Looking forward for your next post on R.O.M!

Yes anything sold in a shopping complex is expensive. If we try to eat cheap ones, it would be snacks that probably can't fill us enough hahaha.

the duck porridge looks tantalizing. i'm such a small eater. i think the portion looks reasonably big enough for me, teehee!
