I watched Transformers 2 : Revenge of the Fallen, last Thursday.
Before watching it, there were a lot of reviews and comments given by a lot of friends, movie-goers and blogger friends. Some would say lousy, some would say so-so, some would be insanely loving it and went for 6 times (yes I do have a friend that did hahaha) so that would mean definitely great!
So I went with all this in my mind… Not letting my hopes up nor down with it. Of course the cinema was crowded… was a full house that night I went. That was a lady at the seat right in front of me was having flu. OMG! H1N1? I was definitely in fear. But heck Transformers 2 was much interesting that her at the point of time. The movie starts 5mins past 9:00pm, caramel popcorn in hand, water in the cup holder… let the entertainment begin!
The movie lasted for 2hours and 30mins. There some scenes where of course wasn’t at all funny but the guy beside me laughed like it was hilarious! Like erm… what was so funny with Bumblebee coming out of nowhere and fighting the bot? Or when Bumblebee step on the Decepticon? I don’t see it being funny. Guess this is one the thing that annoys you in the cinema like foongpc mentioned haha.
Oh and to answer Pikey of where he lost the touching scenes, I believe it is at where Optimus Prime died and where Sam died.
So here is my point of view on the movie.
It is awesome! I definitely would watch it again. The storyline is good, the fighting scenes are awesome.
Of course somehow the Fallen One died too fast and the Devastator too. Just too easy…
They tried to introduce a number of the new Autobots and Decepticons. But somehow a lot of them were very random screens that wooosh by very fast and you end up not being able to see much of them. I definitely lost track of what Decepticons there were haha.

The female motorcycle bot in Autobots. They didn’t do enough details on this one. Very mere wooshing around and about.
Ravage.
Oh I love this from the Decepticons! Look at it! The structure they made, so smooth and you can feel the fierce-ness just by looking at it! My favorite for now.
This time round the robots were shown further in view i.e. bird’s eye view, zoomed out instead of zoomed in like the first movie which made the detailed of the robots very clear and amazing. Maybe this is one of the reasons why a lot of people didn’t enjoy this as much. No more near screen of the bots? Or maybe just less of Megan Fox? Hehe.
The Whettie is funny. Leg humper and Sam got jealous. They included a number of comedic scenes in this movie too. Like some scenes of Leo and Simmons haha. The one in the restroom is funny.
Well, like I said the storyline is good, the special effects are still awesome; love the fighting scenes but just lacking the detail of the bots. I love the scenery in Egypt and Jetfire was really funny; a Decepticon turned sides to Autobots. So Transformers get old too and he had a beard even haha.
Oh, have anyone ever wonder what happened to the female Decepticon that was after Sam? In Transformers 1, the soldiers used guns and bombs and the Scorpion bot’s tail was still alive, and in this they just used cars to ram her and all, and she is gone?
