Back on track of my Singapore trip during June 2009; I know it take ages for me to complete this haha. Sorry.
6th June 2009, evening;
Met up with my fiancé’s friends but I was not up to the weather. I think was because the weather was really hot when we went out, and I kept sweating and getting cold. I was having the flu. We went to Robertson Walk looking for dessert place to sit down enjoy something sweet and talk. We finally settled for Canelé Pâtisserie Chocolaterie
The ambience of the place.
Very bright lit. Have to admit it was cosy.
We chose a table near their kitchen where we can actually see their chefs making the dessert. No picture was taken; I was shy to take their pictures haha.
Most of us ordered their Hot Tea.
I ordered Peppermint Tea.
For my sneezing poor nose. Really helped a lot! After drinking it my nose clears up.
My fiancé’s Strawberry Iced Tea.
Sweet! All I can say hehe.
The desserts.
Most of the chocolate ones are ordered by the other girls. I am never a chocolate person; so I didn’t like it… too chocolatey! But if you like chocolate, it is recommended. It was really filled with chocolate! So chocolate-licious.
I love the one on the top left. I forgot what it was… strawberry cheesecake or something. Didn’t really made the effort to remember at all, like I said, I was sick hehe.
We went to a pub after, called Jazz @ Southbridge. There was a live jazz performance I sure did enjoy the performance; the piano player, the cello player, the drums player and the singer are all very well coordinated and very strong performers; really got me enticed.
Next – Last day of my Singapore Trip; Terminal 2, Changi Airport.
