will be postponing my Mac and Cheese post for some other time… as I think most of my readers are getting afraid to come here because of all the food that makes them hungry all the time haha!
Anyway, the movie is really nice! Touching and I did tear a few… the scene are gorgeous! The graphics are good… I can’t help but kept going “wow!” Though of course come to think of it now, the whole movie reminds me of Starcraft. I do strongly recommend this movie, it is a worth to watch in a cinema. Some understanding is much needed else just enjoy the sceneries. I will not elaborate much on this, because I think some bloggers out there have done better than I would for example Pikey who did quite a spectacular review on it :). Please do drop by his blog for more info of the movie.
Take a look :)
There was a crowd at the centre area when we were heading to go out,
Wonder what it is.
Oh so there are some sports championships there. Squash? Tennis? I actually don’t know haha! Anyone can recognize them? (I know lousy picture, hard to see!)
The multiple views of the water fountain at the main entrance of Pavilion.
My friends and I head over to Times Square after… I only got this shot haha. But it was really nice too!
Going back to Pavilion to shop around and hoping to see snowfall as I was enthusiastic to see it after foongpc mentioned them! So I was eger really very eager! So my friends and I had to return to Pavilion! While I was there, I had to take shots of the white reindeers and sleigh…
But oh so many people! All blocking the view haha and this is my best shot of it!
Oh guess what?!
Mahathir was there too!
Everyone was crowding around him… wanting to shake his hand, take a picture with him… Well, since I didn’t want to crowd near… I decided to take a shot of him from a far.
Soon after we went shopping…
There was a performance on stage! I only managed some parts of it… and mind you I am really a lousy video recorder :P.
I took this performance from the top floor.
Nearing 8pm we headed to the place of where the main entrance is… of course we were at the floor above. We decided not to go down to experience the snowfall. Why?
This is why :P. Look at the crowd?! I don’t want to be stampede there! Haha!
Here are some of the shots of the snowfall.
Here is a video of the snowfall I took :).
I kept moving the camera about so show the different scene… made it all so dizzy hahaha :P. Sorry yea! Of course all this are foam... but looked like real snow right? Even looks better through the glass pane.
I took some of the decorations again to see the comparison of day and night.
Fountain was made by crystal glass... wow... I took a lousy shot at this :P so hard to read haha! Fountain of wealth it says! Or did I read it wrong? :P
Of course the final shot; Pavilion’s entrance at night :P.
I hope you enjoyed my long picture post… I tried not to write too much because I don’t want to see my readers falling asleep on the keyboard haha!
That’s all for now!
So what will I do? I will post a recent happening. Advance warning, long post with LOTS of pictures ^_^.
As everyone know it was a 3-days weekend again for Malaysians (or maybe some other countries too? I don’t know) just this previous weekend. So my friends and I decided to go watch “Avatar”

(I was searching for the movie Avatar image in the web… and I keep getting Avatar the Last Airbender hahaha). We went to Pavilion, KL (it is my first trip there too)… for the first time I am in a small THX hall… weird :P.

While I was in Pavilion I of course went around admiring their Christmas decoration. I was amazed! They really made the place all looked to good. Being in Pavilion, KL I felt so peaceful… it was like I was in fantasy world!
Take a look :)
Lovely decorations I have to say! Really lovely. I especially love the drapes… it was so high up, I felt like I wa sin a castle walking under it! Did you notice Santa’s sleigh? Of course Santa wasn’t around… RM10 needs to be paid to purchase a coupon to set a time to meet Santa! What?! I thought Santa was free?! Must be the posting fee to send messages to Santa’s helpers in North Pole.

FIRST!
Yay!! I'm the first commenter! :P
I went to Pavilion last weekend too, just to see the snowfall, and boy was it crowded! We even wanted to have dinner that night at 9.30pm, and so many restaurants were packed! Argh... we ended up going to the food court at LG and even THAT was packed. And by 9.30pm most of the stalls were sold out, even the fruit juices! Can you imagine? *sigh*
Hey, thank for the recom for the show Avatar, will take my family to watch it over the weekend, a long one too.
hey here wishing you a happy merry Christmas and God Bless
So nice, so beautiful! The celebration does not look like it has been toned down with the economic downturn. Hopefully we'll have a better year ahead. Mahathir celebrating Christmas too? Hehehehehehe!!!!
My daughter went to see Avatar. She loved it...a lot!
LV,
Wah! Your post longer than Foong's! LOL
I think the RM10 needed to meet Santa will be passed on to a charity home or something?
So much going on in the KL shopping centres.
I wanna watch Avatar too. ^_^
Witch : Oh I didn't bumped into you! Maybe cause I was trying to avoid all this crowd haha!
I went to have my dinner outside instead... too much people in Pavilion!
Congratulations for being First Commenter :D.
Eugene : It is really nice :). This weekend ar? Tell me what you think ok?
Yep a long weekend... I am on leave too hahaha! Longer weekend :P. wheee! Hope you have a great weekend and a merry christmas!
suituapui : It has toned down? Well, I am not sure... I never really paid attention to such things before haha!
Oh yes Avatar is nice! Make sure to go watch it yourself too.
lina : Hahaha! I am a "jakun" what to do XD. I went everywhere took every shot I could! hahaha! So ended up, it became longer than foong's :P. Where is foong?!
To charity? Ah then it explains.. it is good... but somehow I don't think a lot of people met Santa for RM10... I was there for the whole day... Santa was no where to be seen....
Shingo : Yep it is a lot... but just cause we see them and show them... I am sure everywhere is this happening. We just need to be there :).
Go watch Avatar! *thumbs up* nice!
@LV,
the RM10 for charity used to be done at MidValley. Seeing that A&P boss (with her key staff) jumped ship to Pavillion, I'm guessing it works the same.
No Santa that day? Pity.
I noticed the water fountain is a new addition to the Pavilion. I wonder what's with the water fountain thing?
I did not watch a single movie in the local cinema. The only movie I watched was The Proposal (in-flight) and that was a crappy movie.
Always miss being the 1st haha^^
wow, that's lovely. merry xmas!
Nice xmas decoration at pavillion le...
Hey LV, wah so festive in here!! :)
I asked my fren which is the better movie, 2012 or Avatar and he said def Avatar... will watch Avatar this holiday! :)
Wishing you and your hubby a very Merry Christmas! Where will u be this Christmas? Here or Sing?
i think Pavilion is the most happening place to see xmas deco, so packed with people taking photos!! and i was shocked to see that crowd waiting for the snow in your photo.. OMG~~
LV I love the photos of Xmas Decoration. This year I am starved of it. Didnt go shoping. Only managed last minute shopping today. Fuiyoh...Midvalley was so crowded.
haha! Your post is definitely longer than mine! So now I'm no longer known as the blogger who writes long posts! : )
Wow! You didn't shake hands with Dr M? Did he arrived unannounced?
I'm going to watch Avatar tomorrow! Yippee! I hope it's as good as you and Pikey said it is! If not, I'm going to blame both of you! Haha!
Actually I didn't really like the water fountain, so didn't bother to take photos of it. haha!
Oh, you went to Berjaya Times Square? I was there yesterday singing karaoke at Neways : )
The rotating Xmas tree was not too bad, but I feel the mall is quite dead, I mean the feeling that it's just not as prosperous as Pavilion or MidValley, you know what I mean?
Avatar is great!!! I wouldn't mind watchign it again even in IMAX! Too bad it was sold out already even the 3d so we had to settle for regular screening.
Seeing all the photos make me miss home more. It's not very festive here =(
The decorations really look spectacular and much better than the ones in San Francisco. I wish we have fake snow :( Maybe I ought to suggest to our mayor and ask him "what's up with this year's low budget Christmas decorations around the city and in the malls?" Ahhh, I know why, our city is broke, we need money!! Maybe next year :). I'm gonna watch Avatar next weekend. My kids have been nagging about this movie since it came out. I watched Star Trek on DVD and that movie was soooo good. I didn't think it would be but pleasantly surprised.
yeah it's the crowd so I don't want to go Pavilion... I love THX sound effect but I guess I won't going cinema for at least 2 years from now... yeah if u want to meet Dr. M, go often to either KLCC or Pavilion.
Merry Xmas to u!
i must be one of those readers that get hungry every time reading ur blog :P
and pavilion! i guess they really are the star for the season, this time they dumped a darn lot of money for the xmas decoration, and everyone is talking about em! :D
hohohoho merry christmas... i gonna download avatar later... =p
merry christmas and happy new year for you...
Im suggesting Avatar in 3D version... Its very2 intersting... look likes the real one!!!
what a long post! you must have put in so much effort to pick out the photographs. :p they did a great job with the red curtain thingy, making the place felt so grand n charming. i watched avatar too. it was quite a ride! wasn't anything close to what we expect. imagine running around with them, woot! :D
