I was so busy yesterday, I forgot to come by here and drop a wish to all my Indian readers and of course to those who celebrates the Festival of Lights.

Same here, no replacement hol. Disappointed!...
Shud give us replacement holiday. Even government servant don't work on saturday nowadays (unless they work in shifts).

Anyway, if want to embrace this "so-called" 1Malaysia spirit, shud give 2 days Deepavali & Christmas holiday, just like Hari Raya and CNY. ;)

lina : Yeah lah so sad.. but alot of companies give extra day into the staffs annual leave or replace friday / monday. Eventually which is why, our last friday and today (monday) is so quiet... All still not working.

Now that Govt recognizes Malaysia Day, let's all push for holidays on Saturdays to be recognized with Monday as replacement. :-D
ya..it would be nice if public holidays which fall on sat can be replaced on mon..
i dont have a single indian friend in Sibu. they r quite rare here in Sibu

Galivanter : Yea those holidays are given by the company. Some replaces friday, some on mondays... some just adds in to their staffs annual leaves.
