Backdated - Pedi and Mani

So before my R.O.M.; my friend insisted that I go for a Pedicure and Manicure.

Was a ticklish experience… I have never really like or even let people touch my feet. So it was a funny feeling.

Here are some before and after pictures of my Pedicure and Manicure.

BEFORE
The toes.Mind you, I injured my toe so there is a reddish bruise :P.

The fingers.Now this are my precious. I was never able to grow such long nails before. I am proud of them :).

There were so many colors to choose from! I had a hard time~

The Decoration.I took this shot while they were preparing the varnish for my nails. Very decorative, I like it :). The only decoration I managed hahaha. My hands were too busy and wet to be touching my camera :P.

AFTER
The toes.Red red! Go hopping down the street! Guess the mom-in-law won’t complain! Though my mom did say “AIYOR! Why so RED?!” From my mom… wow… miracle!

The fingers.I decided on something that matches my shoes which is black and silver straps (in which you will get to see in the near future post); so I decided to choose gold dust nail polish. Nice finger nails right? :P

FASTFORWARD
After the R.O.M. I had to go get another pedicure and manicure to remove my toe and finger nails varnish; in which I had a hard time removing. So might as pay the professionals to do a cleaner neater job :).

Here is my new toe and finger nails.Clean toe nails! Yay!

Noticed my fingernails are now square whereas the one before were rounded types? Square ones are called French Manicure (I think) hahaha.

Of course now my fingernail don’t look as good anymore haha and I have to keep really careful with it to prevent it from breaking… aiyar~

Ok this ends my post! I didn’t bored you all out right? :P Your anticipation will be fulfilled in the next post.

Deepavali Open House

I know a lot of you are anticipating my R.O.M. post; but since that is a backdated post… it can wait a little while more to be posted. I also noticed a number of people are eager to see my R.O.M. pictures (or there is ~dolly~ who wants to see my wedding pictures :P (Donna, I no wedding pictures yet, they are my R.O.M pictures nia) or some who wants to see how I look like); but somehow I am not too excited about posting my mug shots here for fear of unwanted things happening. But we will see how it goes.

So instead of my R.O.M. post, I will post this recent happening. Attending Deepavali Open House held by my colleague on 24th October 2009, Saturday.

We shared a gift for the host.
Dewar’s White Label.We didn’t get to drink it!

It was a really hot afternoon! My colleagues and I had to journey for about one hour or more to our destination.

Passing by places like;
Dirty swamp river.
Old shop houses.Now I haven’t seen this kind of shop houses for some time now.

We arrived at the house. Rested a bit and I found this.
Rice decoration.His family and him decorated on their own. Very nice!

So we went for food. It was lunch time and we were all hungry.
The food!Glorious food! Yummy!

Closer view of the food.
Nasi Biryani (Nasi Biryani as describe by Wikipedia)
Putu Mayam ( Putu Mayam as describe by Wikipedia)
Thosai (Thosai as describe by Wikipedia)
Coconut ChutneyEaten with Thosai.
Dhal(Dhal as describe by Wikipedia)
Curry Chicken
Dry Curry Mutton
Sweet Sour Fish
Stir Fried Vegetables
The food is all yummy~ I do miss Indian delicacies. I had quite an amount that day but did not have a lot because I fear for the hot weather; I might get sick eating too much spicy food. Oh I so want more now hehehe.

Thank you my colleague for such great hospitality and delicious food. I had a great time.

Backdated - Dinner at Canton Bay

15th September 2009, Tuesday;

Before my R.O.M. I had to meet my friend up to get my heels, else I would be without heels on the night of my R.O.M. Gasps! Of course other than that, we also met up for dinner and to shop around. So we went to Sunway Pyramid.
We went to Canton Bay for dinner; it is near the ice rink.My friend told me they are good for their roasted duck and they got a 90% (or was it 99%?) discount off the drink you order when you order their meal.

I ordered;
Roasted Duck Rice.It is kind of a small portion (I was still hungry after I ate this). But it was yummy. Of course if given a choice, I wouldn’t go back there. Expensive for this duck rice since it was small portion. But the duck meat was good. Succulent yum~

My friend ordered their;
Roasted Duck Porridge.Oh this is nice too. Something refreshingly and it was a cold night. So the porridge was something warming.

This is my drink. Guava Juice.In the end with their meal we are entitled to 90% (99%? I forgot hahaha) discount off the drink, the drink became only a few cents. I don’t remember how much but it was, but it was cheap hehehe.

Even after that meal, both of us went to eat a snack of Hot n’ Roll. Hehehe :P. That is how small the portion is at Canton Bay.

So I got my heels, necklace, earrings, and my handbag and also met my friend before my R.O.M. I am all set for my R.O.M. that would be in the next post. Stay tune!

Backdated - ¼ Roast Chicken for Two

13th September 2009, Sunday;

As I had to leave the weekend after declaration of my singlehood;

Dinner at Hanis in the Budget Terminal, Singapore.
We both weren’t really in the mood of eating, so we ordered one set.

¼ Roasted chicken.It is quite a small portion. Can see? The chicken is good, not too dry… tender and yummy. The skin was moist yet slightly crispy. Yum~

Here is the closer view of the roast chicken.

Price on the display board S$9.80; but were charged for S$10.80!I approached them after, to ask them why is the display S$9.80 but the receipt shows S$10.80, so we did get the 1 dollar back.

This is recommended at the Budget Terminal, Singapore. Lets hope when you eat it... it is as good as when I ate it :P.

2nd Anniversary

No Wordless Wednesday from today instead I present you with the latest happening; that just happened this Wednesday morning at 10:00am.

Gift from my husband for our anniversary of the day I became his 14th October 2007. Our second year in a relationship today. Wow and I married him already :P. Anyway!

The roses surrounded by feathers.Lovely isn't it? I love how they use the feathers (it is fake feathers by the way) to surround the roses. It does feel so fluffy... I wonder if this is how heaven feels like :).

The soft toys at the stalks of the bouquet.
Angel & Devil.

Angel Upclose.
Devil Upclose.

Husband decided that because I am always naughty, he calls me the devil and he is the angel hahaha! Riiiight :P. Everyone knows I am an angel :P.

I told him to save the money and buy me beef next time. Of course I am still very delighted to receive this surprise from him and I definitely love the roses surrounded by feathers thing. Thank you, hubs. You made my day the main topic today among my colleagues.

Do you think I am the Angel or the Devil? What do you think of the roses?
